Inspirations and just A Bit of Bucks County…online

“Practice Fire Safety, Watch What You Heat”

“To Save Our Fellow Citizens”, Volunteer Firefighting from 1800 to 1875, was a recent 2015 Exhibit at the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, Bucks County. Artifacts included tools, artwork, photographs and fire fighting equipment “representing the past, honoring the present”. Then, and now, despite innovations and paid firefighter positions, this is not just engaging history, but critical daily safety for most communities across the Nation, in Pennsylvania, and Bucks County’s area 67 Departments- still protected by primarily volunteer Fire Departments.
